The Derra arrives in the Terran system, find the Tobor ship is already approaching Earth.  Lucas warns communications so close to Earth are forbidden, but Darvey says they need to break the rules.   Aphid {Najela:[RELUCTANTLY OR WILLINGLY] sides with Darvey.  Darvey resolves the issue with [ACTION OR REASON].
They warn the Tobors to surrender, but get fired at.  They take evasive action (no shields against kinetic weapons) and Aphid asks permission to engage countermeasures.  Kaps begs to be given a chance, that he’s a really good shot… Darvey agrees — disable them so we can question them — Kaps [HEADS: disables them after a short fight and leaves them orbiting; TAILS: disables their engines in the atmosphere and they burn up on descent].  No information forthcoming from the Tobors.
Lucas appalled, trying to smooth over diplomatic niceties with CSA headquarters as Aphid is scanning frequencies, hoping that Jyi is beaming a distress call from somewhere.  Darvey listens in, pause at the sound of [SONG]. At first they don\’t hear it and thinks it\’s {{Najela:[ANOTHER SONG ON THE RADIO]}. But it\’s not that song and it’s not coming from Earth, it’s coming from the Kuiper belt.  It’s the distress call!
