(Jan 5.51pm) Ahh the painkillers finally kicked in. I think it’s funny Anna and I are taking pills in a story about drugs. Metafiction FTW!! I should also add that Rok isn’t from Denmark, but from Brazil, he’s just lives in Denmark. He also prefers Classical Music, which is why we are torturing him with Metallica.We’re nice people like that.

In other news, it’s not only people who take toilet breaks here at The Dispatch, but dogs too.

In bad new. I just made Anna cry. She has the chicken pox, and I joked that MCM should write a story called The Pig and The Pox. Woops. So, to make her feel better, I’m afraid I’ll have to speak Lolcat for a minute. Yes it is that late here. Just scroll down if you don’t want to see.

Okay. Sorry for that. Onto more serious matters, the outline for Chapter 7. Starting from here things changed by either Rok or Mjgolli will have their names between brackets.

Darvey and his wife have short discussion about her death and afterlife, where she seems unnaturally concerned with [HOUSEHOLD CHORE].  Darvey is just about to kiss her when lights come on and Jyi barges in.
She’d “read the air” and figured out something was wrong.  Explains Centaurian “mind reading”, amplification etc.  She’s very worried about hallucinations, figures it must be a result of alcohol and some other neural radiation getting out of control.  Darvey volunteers to find out.  Jyi dumps the rest of his alcohol, says she’s going to request a new human.  He’s obviously not fit to be on the team.  Says he can go back to his life, happy and safe.  This makes him extremely unhappy.
They argue about wasted time, about drug problem out of control, kidnappings, that Governor’s daughter missing {Rok} [YOUNG ADULT ALIEN FEMALE NAME], and they can’t take the time to find her because Darvey is busy getting drunk and messing around with ghosts, {Rok} doing [ACTIVITY YOU DO WITH A PARTNER].  Darvey is getting progressively more [ANGRY OR SAD], about to act on it…
Call comes in from Kaps.  He’s picked up a pusher from [PLANET NAME] who has a history dealing Tobor merch.  In the interrogation room, if they’re interested.  Darvey’s mood flatlines as Jyi leaves.

The Squirrel got it right, this chapter is very sad. I always like it when MCM goes on the emotional route. I have a feeling we’ll be screaming DAAAARRRVEEEEYY, just like we cried YYYUUUURRRIII last time. MCM is good at emotional. On to Anna.

I am still confused re: ghost. Why would it have been bad for him to kiss the ghost? I mean, it’s air, right?

And I like how MCM has a kickass female character. I bet she will be wicked during the interrogation… but I suspect Darvey will have to prove his usefulness somehow otherwise he’ll get booted, no?

Any guesses as to where the story’s going next? I think that there will be socks in it somewhere.
