I don’t understand this chapter at all. Anyone who can ofter any help? Don’t see the reader input either.

49.Quiet Lie
5 years ago.  Redux goes to take shower.  Rache tries to
find shirt to change into, opens drawer and finds bottles of
vitamins.  Realizes the truth.  Keeps it from him, but says “I
won’t let you down.”

This is obviously after the totally NON-sex they had. I smell a continuity issue… Because Yuri went to hide out in the bathroom. However now that I’ve read the notes it does make more sense. But now I’m not sure where Yuri went in hiding… My tired memory is failing me. Maybe my continuity is failing me. Anyway, onto Anna, because I still have to finish more thoughts to the Dispatch Chapter 47…

(Anna) 06.30 and there is a continuity error
Clearly in the outline MCM had planned for them to have sex, but they didn’t so he adjusted accordingly, except…

She turned on the lights, slipped on her clothes, and checked herself in the mirror.

He only pulled her sweater off… (unless he somehow sneaked her left sock off, too? ) so this doesn’t make sense.

It seems that Rache/Chenne has known all along that Yuri is Redux. And so perhaps I was right: he got angry at her in that cafe when she told him about wanting to be a dustrunner, because he was in the biz himself and knew the truth about the situation, saw himself in her.

And I guess she knew he wouldn’t approve of her being a pirate, so never told him….

Anyway. A little disappointed by this chapter in that I want to know what’s going to happen to Yuri now! The SEF know his name! Gosh! MCM, write faster!

p.s. Also a little concerned about Eli; it’s nearing 9am where he is, and no sign of him yet… Not sure when his exam is supposed to be, but….
