That’s what she said. No really. It is. Look, after that whopper of a chapter, someone needs to keep things light-hearted here, okay? Silly jokes abound.

Some history: Jan and I took advantage of MCM’s absence to chat about food for an extended period of time, particularly the greatness that is nutella, which spreads so thick and creamy (that’s what she said)….

Okay. The chapter. I thought I’d switch things around this time a little (that’s what she said) and put the Q&As first.

I was trying to go for the safe option with kindness; I don’t want anyone hurt now as I like the characters too much. Not sure where the answers fit in but I was in too much shock to try find them anyway.

49. Notice of Death
Chenne arrives at Redux’s hangar in a panic, but he’s
gone. She checks around outside, but then sees on the door
a note: “Chenne.” Reads it. It’s a thank you for trying,
saying he wants her to get out before she ends up like him.
ENDS WITH: Chenne knocking at the door to Redux’s
apartment, solemn.

Clearly MCM switcharoo’d this scene around to make it even more of a tearjerker. And we were right: Anya lives, but Yuri metaphorically dies by going to prison. I sense a wrapping up for this plot line. I’d love to know Sabina’s thoughts, though.

On to happier news (for me), I won the word count guessing again (third time now, I think) as I was off by 214. The guesses were:

(Jan) 7.53 pm MCM tells us the next one is only 30 minutes away and that he’s switched music, which I think means we’re up for some action again. (This chapter was written with Buckley on)… As for the answers, I think the kindness whas how Rache acted towards Sabina… The cowardly maybe to the get out Rache, instead of be brave and fight for it all while kicking some serious ass (which I hope she will) The 5 words are the dramatic ending:

Damn. Such a strong character. Merrilee tweeted that she suspected Yuri to turn himself in, but I found it unusually not forward for Yuri. So maybe the cowardly refers to that, instead of him making a run for it. The notes say he is gone only, not that he turned himself in. With only 2 chapters to go, I’m wondering how this could possibly end well?? The Mole, Stacey and Simon, The Universe Questions, The Corruption. No way MCM will give us a happy ending…

Damn You MCM for getting us so cought up, for making us care so much about everyone.
