A bottle of Rum to make dark & stormies. it is also for my Amanda Palmer preconcert party though

Now I’m back, I see that I totally forgot cookies. Lucky I still have some chocolate left from easter. No ramen because we don’t do that in Belgium, livewriting classic or no livewriting classic. Maybe we should make fish fingers the European livewriting classic. I’m sure Anna would agree with that.

On to the chapter. Jyi is really cool. It’s amazing how fast she went back to her undercover self. I’m a bit worried though, she seems to liek the drugs a tad too much, not easy to not make mistakes when you’re slightly high. I also think this must mean Kaps was stationed at Panella for a long time too, and that’s why he knew his way around so well. But Jyi really is the star of it all at the moment. She kicks soo much ass.

The outline:

Jyi brought up to her room, a cruddy room with windows wide open and vines growing inside.  [ODD FURNITURE] [CAGED PET] [HYGIENE PROBLEM]  Guard gives her her kilo, warns her not to do that kind of thing again.  Tenzo is under a lot of pressure, and people that push him can end up dead.  Jyi asks about [bird], and is told he’s still tweaking downstairs, and got another free hit thanks to Jyi’s performance.

Guard shows her the ice box, throws her a [FRUIT] to eat.  Aphrodisiac fruit.  Sneaky.  She eats it anyway.  He has one too.  These things are hard to get nowadays.  He tells her about life in the city now that imports are more heavily restricted: had a friend who was trying to import a [GIFT FOR CHILD] for his kid, and by the time it got through the red tape, it was basically useless.  She says they should try shipping through the forest.  Less guarding out there.  He says the government has taken to blowing up anything that looks like it’s shipping in or out of the forest.  Really bad idea.  She shrugs, says maybe for HIM…

The guard acknowledges that Jyi isn’t in to the group aspect of earlier, but maybe she’d be up for a little one-on-one.  She tells him last time she did that with a soft-brain, he spent the rest of his life in a wheelchair.  Though maybe it was worth it.  Guard finishes his fruit, gets very close, asks her if she’d like to risk it.  But she LIKES him, and if she killed him, who would she talk to?  She pushes her against the wall, and she puts a hand on his blaster.  Standoff.  She says she’s tired.  Maybe later.  He eventually backs off, says he’ll remember the “later” part.

Before he leaves, he says she has three hours and then Tenzo wants her back downstairs again.  She asks why not right away?  Tenzo’s seeing someone very important, and if she wants to stay alive, she’ll wait EXACTLY 3 hours, and then come downstairs.  Neither Tenzo nor his guest appreciate interruptions.

On a sidenote, MCM announced that there is a hidden Easter Egg around somewhere, and that the first one to find it (Dispatch crew excluded) will gain extra outline changing powers. So hunt hunt hunt!
